Carbon Connect is a structured, auditable messaging system that facilitates real-time communication between project proponents, developers, Validation & Verification Bodies (VVBs), and ICR. This ensures seamless collaboration while maintaining a secure and transparent record of all discussions throughout the project lifecycle.

📢 Beta Rollout: Messaging Channels for Registered & Pre-Registered Projects

As part of our Beta phase, we are rolling out messaging channels for registered and pre-registered projects. This enables all stakeholders involved in a project to engage in structured discussions directly within the ICR Registry Platform, eliminating inefficient and unstructured email communication.

Message threads will automatically appear for your project(s), and you will receive email notifications when a new message is posted.

💬 How to Use Carbon Connect (Beta)?

During the Beta phase, Carbon Connect will primarily focus on communication related to project pre-registration and registration.

You’ll see messaging threads related to your projects, along with the participants involved in each discussion.

🔎 What We’re Focusing on Now:

1️⃣ Refrain from communicating project-related matters through email, phone, or texts. Carbon Connect should be the primary medium for project discussions.
2️⃣ ICR will use Carbon Connect to communicate minor findings related to your platform information and documentation.
3️⃣ VVBs, proponents, and developers can use Carbon Connect to post clarification questions in a structured and auditable manner.
