The project utilizes livestock manure from nearby ranches to extract biogas and produce electricity for the national grid with 4.96 MWm of installed capacity. The project will contribute to GHG emission reductions through anaerobic digestion of manure, taking out biogas and producing electricity and displacing electricity in the national grid which is otherwise dominated by fossil fueled power plants. The project will reduce 297,600 tCO2e annually.
